Founded in spring 2024, Lima Literary Agency is based in Stockholm and represents Swedish authors whose stories engage, inspire, and resonate.

Our list is grounded in a belief in literature as a force for change. We are drawn to bold, searching stories that question the world as it is, highlight hidden norms and imagine what it could be. Most of the authors we represent explore themes like identity, justice, mental health, class and belonging.

We are building an agency shaped by care, collaboration and long-term thinking. One that puts values at the centre and works for a more inclusive industry, where more people see themselves both on the page and behind the scenes.

Cecilia Lindh Mattsson

Cecilia is the founder of Lima Literary Agency, with a strong foundation in literature, communications, and project management. She has lived, worked, and studied in Stockholm, London, Buenos Aires, and Bangkok—experiences that have provided her with a broad cultural understanding and an international approach to the literary world.

Cecilia has studied literature, project management and communication in Stockholm, furthering her knowledge and skills in both the theoretical and practical aspects of the publishing industry. Her academic path, combined with her global work experience, has allowed her to develop a deep understanding of the nuances of cross-cultural storytelling and communication.

Over the years, Cecilia has held various roles, including literary agent, project manager, and public relations consultant. She has worked with a diverse range of publishers, authors, and industry professionals, gaining a strong understanding of how to build connections in different markets. Her expertise spans between rights management, sales, PR, and digital marketing, all with a keen focus on connecting authors with international readers.
