Sofia Mickelsson

Born in 1993, Sofia grew up in Partille outside Gothenburg and now lives in Skövde. She is trained as a health educator and nurse, but storytelling has always been a big part of her life.

From magical fantasy adventures to romantic dramas and everyday tension, she has always been fascinated by stories in all their forms. The dream of writing—of giving life to the imagination she’s never quite been able to hold back—has been with her for as long as she can remember. Only in recent years has she begun to truly pursue that dream.

Whether it’s fantasy, contemporary or historical fiction, what matters most to Sofia is creating stories that engage and evoke emotion—be it joy, excitement, love, anger, or empathy. A common thread in all her books is romance. Because what’s a story without a touch of love?
