Åsa Karsin

Åsa Karsin is a picture book creator who has produced a large number of books for children. A recurring theme in her stories is emotions, and she has a unique ability to raise thought-provoking questions through both text and illustration.

Born in 1969, Åsa grew up and resides in Stockholm, spending her summers with her family in Skåne. She has been working as an author and illustrator since 1998.

Her works mainly focus on children aged 3 to 6 years old. Writing for young children presents a thrilling challenge, especially when crafting a meaningful and engaging story with minimal text.
